Who is B.A.S.?
Old school but never old, Boulder Acoustic Society is a new take on American Roots music. Its what happens when four songwriters get together to mash up blues, folk, gospel, indie and world music to soothe their musical curiosity. Whether its a festival stage, performing arts center, dive bar or a late night campground set, B.A.S. delivers musical diversity throughout their as if its normal. With an exciting musical surprise around every corner, their live shows fuel the buzz and their records defy labels.
But how did this all come together?
- A violinist from Singapore who ventured beyond the classical world to play music for world peace ...Kailin Yong
- A bassist who collects obscure folk songs and builds his own instruments ...Aaron Keim
