Coal, Cotton & Dust Tour

Coal, Cotton, and Dust Fundraising

Boulder Acoustic Society is so excited to start work on a new record this summer! This will be the first time the new line up is in the studio, and we’ve written some great new tunes and have put a new twist on some old classics. The record is called Coal, Cotton, and Dust, and it’s inspired by America’s rich history of protest music!

We’ve been fortunate enough to round up musician/producer Jefferson Hamer to work on the record with us. Jefferson’s resume includes work with a decorated list of artists including the Single Malt Band, the electric country-rock outfit Great American Taxi, Anais Mitchell, Kristin Andreassen, Tao Seeger, Tashina Clarridge, and Laura Cortese. We couldn’t be more pumped to work with someone as talented, hip, and all around cool as Jefferson.

All of this exciting stuff, however, is going to cost some money. About $9000 to be exact. And that’s where you come in. We need your help. Every level of sponsorship has a gift from us attached to it, from a digital track, to a signed copy of the record, all the way to a thanks in the liner notes and a permenant guest list. One of the greatest pleasures of traveling as a musician is the oppurtunity to meet cool people and make new friends, and now we need help from all those people. So take a look at the sponsorship levels and join the Society.
